Marketing Officer

Department: Commercial and Business Strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update company social media pages, ensuring regular posting and audience engagement.

  • Develop and schedule engaging content for digital platforms, including blogs, videos, infographics, and promotional materials.

  • Monitor social media analytics and engagement metrics to assess performance and recommend improvements.

  • Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and oversee online advertising campaigns.

  • Manage email marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.

  • Conduct market research and customer surveys to identify trends, preferences, and business opportunities.

  • Analyse competitor strategies and provide insights to improve the company’s market positioning.

  • Prepare reports on market trends, customer feedback, and campaign performance.

  • Assist in identifying new target markets and business expansion opportunities.

  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events, trade shows, and exhibitions.

  • Assist in managing media relations, press releases, and public engagement activities.

  • Coordinate sponsorships and partnerships to enhance brand visibility.

  • Assist in developing customer retention programs and loyalty initiatives.

  • Respond to customer inquiries on social media and digital platforms to enhance brand reputation.

  • Work with the sales team to generate leads and support customer conversion efforts.

  • Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Maintain marketing databases and CRM systems for customer outreach and lead tracking.

  • Prepare periodic reports on marketing activities, expenses, and campaign results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, public relations, and customer service.

  • Stay updated on emerging marketing trends and technologies to improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance marketing knowledge and skills.

  • Perform any other lawful duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

  • Practical work experience in marketing and sales roles within reputable organizations will be an added advantage.
