Job Title: National/Regional Short Term Technical and Vocational Trainer – Plumbing and Pipefitting

Duration: 6 person months

Job Description

The Technical and Vocational Trainer – Plumbing and pipefitting will:

• Cooperate with the curriculum expert in the technical expert’s corresponding field so that adequate technical content is included in the curricula
• Develop didactic material and prepare practical exercises for teaching
• Conduct technical training courses in the respective technical field
• Coordinate visits and internships with the local private sector to facilitate work based experience

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a technical certificate (high school +3) in the relevant field
• Professional experience in vocational teaching and in private industry of a minimum of 5 years
• Experience working in the private sector
• Working experience in Tanzania or East Africa obligatory
• Right to live and work in Tanzania/East Africa
• Excellent spoken and written English and Kiswahili
