PLANNING, MONITORING, EVALUATION AND REPORTING SPECIALIST

UNWOMEN Tanzania Office wishes to recruit a suitable Tanzania national to fill Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Specialist positions

LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM

CONTRACT: SERVICE CONTRACT

SUMMARY OF A KEY FUNCTIONS

·         Planning support to the country programme

·         Leading monitoring of results against strategic outcomes and as per approved plans

·         Leading reporting on results

·         Coordinating reviews and evaluations

·         Managing knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

·         Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Science or related field

·         Additional certificate in statistics, MIS management will be considering as an asset

·         At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, evaluation and reporting on GEWE programming

·         Substantive knowledge and practical experience in GEWE programming

·         Strong reporting, research and analytical skills in GEWE

·         Proficiency in MS Office packages including database management such as Access, SPSS, and web-based management system etc.

·         Familiarity with UN programmes and working procedures is an asset

·         Written and Oral proficiency English

·         Knowledge of the local languages is required
