Kilimanjaro Cement Company Limited is a new entrant into the Tanzanian market. Launched in June 2017 and in order to meet its business needs, we are looking for the following personnel to be based at Tanga.

Shortlisted candidates who are from Tanga / Arusha region would be interviewed in Tanga. Candidates from other regions would be interviewed in Dar es Salaam.

PLC Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Willing to work in Shifts
• Excellence in safety and environmental performance on all assignments and projects
• Hands-on Experience Siemens PLC and WINCC scada is an added advantage
• Key duties will be to undertake maintenance, repairs, and improvements in the electrical, PLC troubleshooting,
• Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns and handling of all types of shift routine breakdown and preventative maintenance.
• An understanding of PLC systems and fault finding
• Hands on experience on Siemens, Allen Bradley will be preferred.
• Capable of reading electrical drawings with a good understanding of electrical control systems.
• Good knowledge of Ladder programming, logic control troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge in modification or prepare new program or 0ld PLC programs.

Qualification
B Tech /B.E. – Telecommunication, Computer Instrumentation Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience
