Comprehensive Community-Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves as a healthcare social enterprise and through development programs the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs and is opening a Maternity and Newborn Wing in 2021.

In order to strengthen the Maintenance Department, we are looking for a Plumber who will assist in the provision of all Maintenance services towards our business units.

 

Your role

As a Plumber at CCBRT, your role includes repairing any cracks in our corridors and pathways, painting, repairing, and replacing all water taps as necessary, and ensuring that all taps, toilets, and water sinks are in good working order. You will take responsibility for Checking and cleaning the soak pit and all drainage chambers, checking and ensuring that the hospital has enough water supply and storage in reserve tanks, cleaning the worksite, and taking care of working tools and equipment.

 

Your qualifications and work experience

  • O level Certificate of Education
  • Certificate in Plumbing
  • Trade test 1
  • Two years of experience
  • Self-confidence,
