JOB PURPOSE

The role holder is accountable for supporting the project team regarding contract modifications, compliance, payments, reports and any other duties related to the project.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification)

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

Project Accountant or in a similar financial management role

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

3-4 years' experience gained in the processing or accountancy sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure timely processing of payments for received project invoices through the Accounts Payable team.
Analyze and interpret contractual terms and conditions to ensure proper financial management and compliance.
Prepare periodic reports (i.e. weekly and monthly) of the project costs for management reviews
Work closely with the Projects Cost Controller to be based in Operations Department to ensure completeness and accuracy of costs recorded in the accounting system.

KEY COMPETENCIES

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
