Job Summary
Abt Associates seeks a qualified Project Assistant / Senior Logistics Officer to support the PS3 Plus project in Tanzania.A Project Assistant (PA) supports one or more Technical Specialists and/or the Project Director in carrying out technical project work. - Typical duties at this lower PA level include documenting project activities, setting up and maintaining project files, drafting reports, preparing statistics, translating simple documents, preparing training materials, and making conference logistical arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- TAXES and VAT liaison
- Vehicles management ( Fuels, tracking, Services,Insurance)
- Air Ticketing /booking
- Hotel booking ( Accomodation)
- Clearing and forwarding liaison
- Postage and shipping
- Maintain/Updating Project – Fixed Asset register/ Inventory.
- Others –as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- ( 2+ ) years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
