Job Description
The Umoja wa Wapandaji Miti Matembwe {UWAMIMA} is seeking for highly skilled personnel in the field of Project Manager to work on its initiative of Market Centre located at Matembwe village in Lupembe division, Njombe DC, Njombe Region. The staff are expected to serve the project called ” Increase FO capacity to offer integrated economic services to farmers-led collective businesses 2018-2020″
Qualifications
i/ Diploma/ Degree in Forestry/Agribusiness/Economics/Business Administration or related field.
ii/ Minimum of two years of experience in Project management.
iii/ Written and oral communication abilities in English and Swahili.
iv/ Experience with donor-funded international and local programs and deliverables is desirable.
v/ With a thorough knowledge in the timber business.
vi/ Proficient in MS Office.
vii/ Multitasking, organizational, interpersonal, networking and good leadership skills.
viii/ Experience in working with “Not for Profit” organizations is an added advantage.
ix/ Able to work in remote areas and integrate with the local community
Responsibilities
- To perform all duties as per project document and associated remedies from funders.
- Perform all functions as manager in planning, supervising, analyzing and generation of reports to Executive committee and Donors.
- Controlling the employees under him/her to perform their duties as per prescribed job descriptions.
