RECRUITMENT OF A PROJECT OFFICER FOR SENSE INTERNATIONAL TANZANIA
Sense International is the leading global charity supporting people with deafblindness in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Tanzania, Peru, Romania and Uganda. We work with local organizations and governments to identify people with deafblindness and empower them with appropriate educational, health and vocational services to enable them to participate in and contribute to their communities. In order to ensure a lasting and sustainable impact, we invest in local professionals and organizations, influence governments and advocate for change. We are seeking a Project Officer for our Tanzania team.
PROJECT OFFICER – TANZANIA
Job Purpose
- To coordinate Sense International Tanzania’s Early Intervention Program
- To support the Programme Manager with efficient management of programme budgets and schedules
- To ensure that programme outputs are delivered to the expected level of quality, through managing relationships with stakeholders including government offices, and ensuring project outcomes and impact are achieved.
- To support the Programme Manager with new programmes, report on existing programmes both internally and to donors
- We are looking for a professional with experience of working in healthcare or with people with disabilities. You will need experience in coordinating projects, managing budgets, reporting and strong monitoring and evaluation skills
