OVERVIEW

Apotheker Consultancy (T) is established and incorporated in Tanzania. Apotheker provides technical support, consultancy services and implementation to a range of health programs in Tanzania and beyond with focus on Pharmaceutical services, public health, and general health-related services.

Apotheker is looking for qualified individuals to support activities in one of its projects aiming at improving child and adolescents’ health in Tanzania. Job positions are for offices located in Dar es salaam.

PROJECT OFFICER – FIELD SUPERVISOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Officer will report to Project Lead and will support the project on the following

1. Supervise all field activities in the project area
2. Ensure the project is implemented in line with set protocols and adherence to standard operating procedures
3. Ensure that information collected from project activities is compiled and stored in appropriate database systems
4. Maintain a close professional relationship with the Government officials in the project areas
5. Ensure the participants' privacy and confidentiality are maintained
6. Take part in data analysis and report writing
7. Perform any other project related activities as may be determined from time to time by project lead

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES

1. A holder of Bachelor degree in Sociology, Statistics, Public Health
2. Experience working with statistical software packages is an added advantage
3. Ability to manage and lead field activities teams
4. Excellence in written and fluent spoken English and Kiswahili languages
5. Ability and experience in working with communities in rural areas
