MS TCDC is a development training Centre and civil society hub which actively engage its stakeholders in sustaining and succeeding popular struggles for a more democratic world. MS TCDC is now seeking for two internship positions for a SALES/MARKETING PERSON to join our team of experts while gaining valuable and marketable experience.
Public Relations and Sales Intern (1 Post)
The Public Relations and Sales Intern reports directly to the PR and Communications officer. The purpose of this internship position is to support the team in carrying out day to day Sales, Marketing and Public relation activities on direct and indirect approach. Effective communication to the target audience and marketing of MS TCDC services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in promoting MS TCDC offered services such as training, conference facilities, accommodations etc
- Develop a close relationship with the course administrators’ team to ensure that all forecast programme targets sales are met.
- Creation of online and offline campaigns and promotion, i.e. emails, bulk SMS, newsletters etc
- Distribution of marketing materials
- Direct visits and attending trade shows & events
- Perform analysis of on/offline marketing and sales data
- Telemarketing
- Updating database
- Following up on enquiries
- Send out press releases
- Assist with building and maintaining relationships with both local and national media
- Following up with service providers and deliveries
Terms and conditions:
The internship positions above will be based at the MS TCDC in Usa River, Arusha, Tanzania. The internship is offered under MS TCDC Internship Policy with initial contract of three (3) months and a possibility of extension for the maximum of one (1) year depending on the future programmatic focus and programmatic needs of MS TCDC. It is unpaid internships however, MS TCDC provides lunch and minimum allowance to cover transport.
