Job Position: QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Job Description
Qualification required: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
Accountabilities: Advice organization on house/replacement building construction contracting model and tender documentation, planning, and procurement activities beyond those provided for the RAP planning documentation.

Responsibilities:
1. Review and manage Construction Contractor schedule, Construction Cost Control, and Progress reporting
2. Identify and report on all schedule and budget risks
3. Undertake site inspections to check and confirm specific work activities like reinforcement, concreting, and foundations.
4. Undertake joint site measurements with the Contractor and review submitted quantity and material costs in the Interim Payment Applications and prepare corresponding Interim Payment Certificates.
5. Advise organization on Contractor improvement strategies which can be applied to ensure timely delivery of Replacement Housing
6. In conjunction with the Construction Contractors, compile and submit closeout documentation for each replacement house delivered including sign-off from the recipients.
