Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for planning, leading, executing and managing URUS business plan and field operations in the Northern Zone and Southern Highlands
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Suitable candidate for this position will be responsible for the following.
- Oversee the daily and long-term operations of URUS across the designated geographic region.
- Oversee all Regional trainings and ensure success of the business Plan.
- Promote, train and drive success/adoption of Dairy Comp Go among Farmers/Inseminators
- Help Recruit, Develop and Coach the Field Coordinators/Sales Promoters, with emphasis on Gender balance.
- Promote Sales, build close relationships and work closely with the AI technicians and distributors to achieve sales targets and enhance growth.
- Shall be the liaison officer with the cooperative management, Government officers, institutions and other key stakeholders within the territory
- Alignment of seminars/training activities to the available human resource.
- Be fully accountable for the Region/Territory.
- Provision of technical training services on selected topics
- Responsible for inseminators reward/Bonus scheme and ensure its success.
- Be in charge of consultants’ allocation to the various training activities.
- Human resource management within the territory.
- Any other duties assigned by the Country Manager/Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- An undergraduate degree (BSc) in Veterinary Medicine (BVM) or Animal Science
- Previous experience and record of success doing business in Africa Livestock sector and preferably dairy industry
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent command of English and Swahili languages in written and oral communication.
- Entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to write reports, best practices, and lessons learned
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
