Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) through Global Fund Grants is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions:
HEALTH SYSTEM STRENGTHENING UNIT
Job Title: RSSH M&E Specialist 1 Position
Location: Dodoma
Reporting To: RSSH Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as M&E expert in the RSSH team and provide day-to-day technical support to ensure that the RSSH Team fulfil its oversight obligations as described in the Oversight Plan M&E section.
- Provide technical specialist capacity for reviewing the quality of data submitted by Sub-Recipients.
- Day-to-day coordination of technical support for planning/replanning and budgeting/re-budgeting of RSSH funded activities referred to Implementing Partners/Sub Recipients.
- Provide technical specialist capacity for;
- Monitoring of activities of RSSH funded activities referred to Implementing Partners/Sub Recipients and report to the MoHCDGEC GF Coordinator on achievements, constraints and ways forward.
- Collection and analysis of programmatic data on a sub-national level.
- Producing regular reports on program progress and results.
- On request from Component Coordinator provide technical support and supervision to Implementing Partners/Sub Recipients as needed
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Medicine
- Masters in Monitoring and evaluation or epidemiology
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in a performance monitoring and/or evaluation role with an international development organization
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis, project design, monitoring, and evaluation of development activities.
- Experience developing results frameworks, logical frameworks, or similar tools for project design is an added advantage
- Excellent Communication Skills are important.
- Age limit: 50 years
Terms of Employment: 3 years Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds)
