Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Provide safety and security training to employees, ensuring compliance with OSHA Municipal, and state regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop safety policies and procedures
- Maintain records of safety-related incidents and training sessions
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and security role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bold and tough in the execution of duties, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
