Role Purpose
A Sales executive is tasked with responding to inquiries ensures proper flow of office procedures, supports the office directors by carrying out common office duties. Maintains a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed on monthly sales and productivity Key Performance Indicators.
- Receive inbound calls, emails & make outbound calls from all non-direct channels to existing and prospective customers. Including follow-up calls to qualify and close business.
- Collect, generate, and track customer inquiries from prospect through to closure.
- Manage the sales process: lead/ inquiry development, schedule sales bookings, market and sell all product lines, negotiate and close deals with prospective customers.
- Accurately and efficiently deal with all sales inquiries in a timely manner, and record notes clearly in all relevant CRM systems.
- Collaborate with field-based teams to provide great customer service, accuracy, and quality of information.
- Proactively cross-sell other Group products and solutions and recommend improvements that will positively impact sales and efficiency.
- Manage time efficiently to achieve goals related to phone system usage and Recommend improvements that will positively impact sales and efficiency.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Area Sales Managers for further development and closure and Perform effective online demos to prospects.
- Any other duties as assigned by line manager
Academic qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration or Marketing & Sales.
Work Experience
- Experience of sells in building product is an added advantage.
- Experience with Call Centre set ups / Call Handling and having worked in a Call Centre.
