Job Summary
We are hiring a proactive and motivated Sales Officer to drive sales efforts and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong ability to communicate software solutions to diverse business customers. This role will involve managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, while building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell software solutions and services to meet clients' needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver persuasive presentations.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Respond to client inquiries and follow up on leads to convert them into sales.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.
- Collaborate with the technical and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep detailed records of sales activity and customer interactions.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to better serve clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a software or tech-related industry.
- Strong sales skills and a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Swahili.
