Job Purpose and Scope:

  • Supports customers in the use and application of ADD products (Mainly in Chemistry, Immunology, and Haematology) and also supports ADD staff in implementing its’ strategies.
  • Support all divisions in the implementation of it business strategies
  • Provide expertise in support functions; this includes business maintenance, new business gains, business reviews and product investigations.
  • Responsible for conducting customer training and workshop
  • Responsible to make sure that the Company training standards are adhered to and keep the training consistent to meet the customer/ company objectives for the African region.
  • Responsible for evaluating training and meeting customer needs through training.
  • Responsible in assisting Sales/Service to get customer to test of record by company set metric
  • Assisting sales with the customer evaluations of new products.
  • Responsible for product updates and communications.
  • Provide support and is responsible to make sure the SSS team have completed all their task
  • Assist RSD to develop new process and to get the new processes implemented by set deadlines
  • Drive the implementation within the team on new processes, training, and conferences
  • Coaching of team members
  • Make sure QD / PI are addressed accordingly
     

Knowledge / Education Required:

  • B.Sc. Degree / Diploma in Medical Technology
  • Proficient in writing, reading and speaking English
  • Valid Code 08 drivers license

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical support experience.
  • Laboratory experience in Hematology, Immunology, Immunochemistry or Clinical Chemistry.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Ability to professionally interact with the customers on many different levels i.e key opinion center (KOLs), Physicians, Pathologist, Head of Departments, Laboratory Managers, Laboratory Technologists.

  • Technical product expertise with various diagnostics products in Hematology, Immunology, Immunochemistry &Clinical Chemistry Informatics and automation
  • Knowledge of the diagnostic market
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics
  • Must be able to read and understand electronic and pneumatics diagrams
  • Experience with Information Technology (IT) or Laboratory Information Systems
