Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in ICT with specialization in telecommunication, electronics, and communication, information technology or computer engineering. Must be a holder of a first degree in the field of ICT, electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.

Experience

Minimum of six years post registration experience in telecommunication, electronics, and communication industry.

Duties and responsibilities

         i.            To identify various project areas that need fund’s intervention;

       ii.            To assist in the coordination and conduct of research and development program intended to explore new developments in the communication sector with the view of  identifying areas requiring the interventions;

      iii.            To develop project planning schedules  for various projects as input to project implementation;

     iv.            To assist in the development of options for interventions and solutions for emerging needs in the current market and review current interventions in the specific market segments;

       v.            To update usage and service distribution map within the geographic areas of the United Republic of Tanzania

     vi.            To supervise juniors on the preparation of project scheduling, tendering and, implementing programs; and

    vii.            To carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
