About Tumaini La Maisha Tanzania (TLM):

Tumaini La Maisha is dedicated to transforming the lives of children with cancer in Tanzania by providing comprehensive care and support. Through innovative programs, partnerships, and public engagement, TLM works tirelessly to ensure no child with cancer is left behind.

We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator Volunteer to amplify our mission, engage with our audience, and inspire support for childhood cancer services in Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Strategy:

• Develop, implement, and manage a dynamic social media strategy aligned with TLM’s goals and campaigns.
• Produce high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content (text, images, videos, infographics) tailored to each platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
• Brainstorm and pitch innovative ideas for social media campaigns to raise awareness and funds.

Community Engagement:

• Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly, fostering meaningful interactions with followers.
• Cultivate an online community that aligns with TLM’s values and mission.

Campaign Management:

• Design and execute campaigns, including Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, fundraising drives, and donor appreciation initiatives.
• Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns to refine strategies.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the communications, fundraising, and program teams to ensure updates and consistent messaging.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, impressions, and conversions.
• Prepare monthly reports detailing social media insights, trends, and recommendations for improvement.

Branding and Advocacy:

• Ensure all content reflects TLM’s brand identity and mission.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or a similar role.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing
