Who are you
- have excellent written English and love writing
- have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- are passionate about education and dedicated to improving educational policies and procedure.
- You are a “people person” and excel at training and supporting staff to follow procedures.
- You have strong Mathematics background.
- You go to sleep at night dreaming about innovative ways to enhance academic systems and processes
- Have past experience in writing procedures and processes for your previous employer
What you’ll do
- Create and continually update academic-related policies and procedures, ensuring they are clear and understandable for all staff.
- Conduct training sessions with staff on how to adhere to your academic policies and procedures.
- Compile and submit various monthly reports to your supervisor.
- Organize logistics for Parent Mobile Centers (held twice a year across northern Tanzania)
- Attend various meetings across the schools with the Senior Academic Manager, including Student Behavior, Parent Agreement, Staff, and academic leadership meetings, so that you can create new or edit current academic procedure documents.
- Participate with scholarship application processes such as organizing the list of staff to be involved in the process and help with doing poverty checks at student homes.
