Job Summary
Abt Associates seeks a qualifiedM&E Specialistto support the Tanzania PS3 Plus project.
Key Responsibilities
Overarching Tasks
- Contribute to M&E strategy development
- Contribute to input to USAID as necessary, contractual reports and communication products
- Communicate and liaison with technical teams on M&E indicators and analysis
Technical Tasks
- Engage in technical dialogue with national and local GOT specialists on M&E indicator systems and data collection
- Design and develop M&E systems for indicator data collection, analysis and reporting
- Implement and refine M&E systems for indicator data collection and reporting
- Report indictor results in USAID systems, disseminate and build M&E capacity at local government level
Management Tasks
- Contribute to program management tasks including budgeting and managing operational activities
- Schedule M&E activities and coordinate GOT and PS3+ staff to avoid schedule conflicts
Cross-Cutting/Other Tasks
- Contribute to development of linkages and integration between all program interventions and teams
- Contribute to establishing a positive project culture
- Perform other tasks as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- (6+) years of experience and a master degree OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
