POSITION: WORKSHOP/STORE SUPERVISOR

REPORT TO: WORKSHOP MANAGER

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL TIME

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Handing over and keeping a record of all the spare parts received and used in the fleet on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintain a record of all the workshop tools in the store and handover to the mechanics on a day-to-day basis.
• Assist in monitoring repair works of the trucks and return of the used part back to the store.
• Handing over lashing gears to the truck drivers on trip basis.
• Inspection of all trucks upon arrival in yard, making sure all the tools and lashing equipment’s are returned to the store.
• Provide a report on any loss of equipment from the store and create a deduction sheet for the person involved.
• Ensure all the store equipments and tools are working well and in good condition.
• Provide monthly report on the store.
• Maintain clean environment in the store and make sure everything is in order.
• Maintain a proper format of health and safety procedures in the yard.
