All this in addition to a brilliant opportunity to build a career in your field of expertise, across our different operating companies in Africa.Airtel Africa is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and remain fully committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.ResponsibilitiesRevenue GrowthAnalyze customer behavior data to define customer segmentation, usage and revenue patternsDesign and develop segment-based usage campaigns to grow AM revenueARPU growth: Ensure growth in ARPU by increasing usage and transaction value and revenue from the existing baseDevelop insights and campaigns for the utilization of all AM products and servicesClosely monitor product yield and product mix to ensure consistent growth in yield and avoid yield destructionContinuously grow bundle and Airtime self-recharge using AMGrowth of Active Customer BaseEnsure continuous growth of AM active subscriber base, GA conversions to AM REC, and customer retentionDesign and develop campaigns to improve gross adds extraction, winbacks, manage churn and M2 decayDrive the AM penetration of the GSM base, ensure month-on-month growthDevelop region-wise insights to determine AM penetration and design region-wise campaignsIdentify areas to grow penetration and design and develop campaigns to grow penetrationAnalyze Gross adds, churn, winbacks, and net adds, define patterns and trends, develop insights to guide management's decisions on base growthData Analytics and Insights GenerationUse various DBMS for data mining, analysis, and reportingContinuously query key revenue growth and subscriber KPIs to determine patterns, measure growth, or identify de-growthContinuous monitoring of performance of AM products and services and develop insights, campaigns and strategies to ensure growth, provide insights to business team and product ownersCompetition Analysis and Market Insights GenerationCampaign ManagementResponsible for operational campaigns management on all CVM tools like Pelatro mVivaCoordinate all campaign requests from the business, prioritize and manage execution of all CVM campaigns, monitoring and reportingEnsure full understanding of Airtel’s CVM campaign tools, and coordinate with vendors, operations and technology teams to ensure optimum utilization and uptime of all CVM toolsSQLComprehend business logic and use of SQL guidelines and procedures for accurate data generation/miningCoach colleagues in using basic SQLReportingPrepare timely management reports highlighting performance against set business KPIsMaintain clear CVM campaign reports, conversions reports, and project trackersProduce and deliver required reports for the business on demandAny other duties as may be assigned from time to timeQualificationsEducational Qualifications & Functional/Technical Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related fieldCertified in SQLRelevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)Minimum of 5+ years of professional commercial experience – Mobile Financial Services, strong experience in product management, customer lifecycle management, customer experienceIT advanced Skills: Database & SQL scriptingExcellent analytical skillsAble to operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and technical resources from multiple areas of the companyAbility to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to operate in a performance-driven organizationKnowledge of English and SwahiliOther Behavioral Requirements:Maintain high levels of integrity, motivated, flexible, and decisive with ability to convince and align groups with divergent viewsCulturally aware and adept at working across multiple geographiesStrong Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical and strategic skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsStrong coaching skills and leadership skillsSet high personal standards and result orientedExcellent communication skills, both orally and in writingExcellent presentation skillsAttention to detailBusiness awarenessApply Now
