Overview
On behalf of the client, KaziniKwetu is looking for Credit Controllers to be based in Dar es Salaam. The desired candidates should have hands-on experience in microfinance startups.
Responsibilities
Prepare management reports on the daily, weekly and monthly basis
Deal with debt collectors, lawyers, TRA and other regulatory bodies
Manage a team and set weekly/monthly targets to the team
Prepare business proposal/plan for fundraising
Manage relations with donors, banks, and HNWI to assist in a round of debt funding to the company is a bonus
Worked with 1-3 of the top Microfinance companies in Tanzania is an added bonus
Able to set up a 5-year plan together with the board in getting the startup to a fully fledged Microfinance bank
Qualifications:
Experience in dealing with SME, Individuals and Group Lending
Knowledgeable on all Microfinance ratios on performance measurements
Very social and involved in the Microfinance field
Qualification or accreditation of Microfinance or credit finance is preferred, alternatively finance/economics degree
5 year minimum experience in manager level experience in a Microfinance
