The Catholic St. Walburg’s Hospital of Nyangao with 220 beds and 200 staff is the Council Designated Hospital of Lindi Rural District. It is providing comprehensive quality health care services for the population of the district and far beyond.We are looking for a suitable person to fill the position of a Hospital Administrator as soon as possible. Under the strategic guidance of the Hospital Management Board and under the direct leadership of the Doctor in charge of the hospital, the Administrator is responsible for managing the finances including creating income and limiting expenses, for budgeting and controlling, for human resources, the stores, the maintenance and for the assets of the hospital.For this demanding and challenging position, applicants must have a Masters degree or similar in Hospital Administration, General Management, Business Management, Public Health or similar, Must have and must be:At least 3 years working experience in managing a hospital in TanzaniaFamiliar with the health system and health policy of the Tanzanian GovernmentAbsolutely competent with computers and IT (office, excel, ppt etc.)Fully conversant with an accounting program (ideally BANANA)Fluent in speaking, reading, writing in Swahili and EnglishMust have experience with health policy and system of the Catholic Church in TanzaniaCommand a personality with leadership qualitiesOnly qualified candidates, who fulfill all, must have and must be should send their applications including covering letter, CV and three reference persons per email only to nyangaojobs@gmail.com before May 15th, 2018.
