Job Summary
Northern Engineering Works Limited is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in human resources management. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to develop practical skills in recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, and organizational management. As an HR Intern, you will collaborate closely with the HR team, supporting daily operations, learning HR best practices, and contributing to ongoing projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in posting job adverts, screening applications, and scheduling interviews to support the recruitment process.
Help with the onboarding and orientation of new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all HR documentation is accurate and properly filed.
Assist in preparing HR reports, summaries, and presentations for management review.
Support the organization and coordination of training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
Participate in planning and executing employee engagement activities to strengthen workplace culture.
Assist in learning and applying HR policies and procedures, helping to ensure compliance with labor laws and internal regulations.
Support HR data entry, analytics projects, and documentation of HR processes to improve department efficiency.
Academic Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Core Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Professionalism, integrity, and eagerness to learn.
Minimum Qualification
Must be a Citizen of Tanzania.
Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.
