POSITION: Junior Legal Advisory Officer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure submission of proposed Training Calendar which cover areas for improvement and further development once a year before end of December
Prepares and keep emergency plan protocol.
Ensure 80% of the learning and development plans have been executed and relevant training plan, is developed and executed.
Provides advice to stakeholders, attend to all enquiries in the legal department
Support HR department particularly on employment and labour laws.
Analysis of laws and regulations to ensure that the bank comply with legal requirements, including providing guidance to various business operations.
Review and Drafting of legal documentations such as contracts
Conduct and attend risk Management and control meetings and planning.
Ensures that the Banks' operations are carried out in compliance with the law and that Banks' interest is fully protected at all times
Advises all departments in legal aspects with respect and professionalism of highest degree
REQUIREMENTS AND BASELINE SKILLS
Foundation in law, Bachelors of Laws (LLB or equivalent)
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders
Minimum of 3 years' work experience, of which 2 year was in a team player role
