OVERVIEW
MARNET COMPANY LIMITED is looking for a passionate Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the organization’s marketing activities and campaigns. You will be the one to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management. A successful Marketing officer must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing and great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator and will have experience in managing different marketing ventures.The goal is to ensure that the marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role of Two years and above
Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Creativity and commercial awareness
A team player with a customer-oriented approach
BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field
JOB PURPOSE
Researches and develops various marketing strategies for products and services
Implements marketing plans and works to meet sales quotas.
Tracks marketing and sales data and identifies areas of improvement.
Provides the first-class service in order to push the marketing and sales of a certain product.
Acts as an intermediary between producers and clientele.
Makes necessary phone calls and meetings to help sales
JOB DUTIES
Contributes information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies
Helps to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered
Sets marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
Develops sales strategies and approaches for various products and services, such as special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
Answers questions from clients about product and service benefits
Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas or sales team goals
Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers and executives
Helps to interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the company's marketing andsales teams
Assigns specific employees to marketing and sales projects or client accounts as needed
Implements and adheres to company policies and procedures
Attends trade shows and travels to meet clients as needed
