JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Monitoring and Evaluation officer, you are expected to support in monitoring and evaluating ongoing project work of children living and working in the streetsYou will be responsible for overall M&E and learning needs of the project and will come up with findings based on real data to show the performance of the projectsYou will also help in strengthening M&E functions based on experiences from the projectMonitoring and Evaluation officer will report directly to the Project CoordinatorWORKING HOURS: FULL TIMEROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1 Ensure that data is accurately, completely and timely documented for all service areas2 Lead in application of new data collection tools and revision of existing ones3 Support in conducting regular trainings on data capture tools4 Ensure that the database is up to date5 Develop project monitoring plan of the projects in line with project work plans andconsulting with project coordinator6 Coordinate with project workers for collecting data against agreed indicators7 Engage with project workers to collect and manage essential data of their respective projectactivities8 Ensure quality of data collected by staff9 Design the framework for the physical and process monitoring of programme activities10 Undertake regular visits to the fields to support implementation of monitoring andevaluation, check the quality of data produced, and to identify where adaptations might beneededMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education:Degree in Project Management or other degree related to monitoring and evaluation.Skills and Experience:The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in project monitoring and evaluationProficient in MS officeWork experience supporting technical or programmatic activities in orphans and vulnerable children specifically children living and working in the streetsExcellent written, oral and presentation skills in English and KiswahiliAbility to work effectively with multiple teams, partner agencies and community membersAll applicants should send their CV and cover letter including referees recommendation letters via our organization email address that is Kisedet@gmail.comor through postal address, THE DIRECTOR, KISEDET ORGANIZATION, P.O.BOX 379 DODOMA
