BackgroundRoman Catholic Diocese of Mahenge headed by Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. AgapitNdorobo was established in April 1964 as Faith-based Organization (FBO) with the mission of proclaiming good news and met socio-economic needs of the society. The diocese implement USAID KIZAZI KIPYA program a five years program (2017 to 2021) funded by The President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) through the United States Agency for International Development(USAID). The goal of the program is to enable orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) age 0-18 and young people age 18-19 to access comprehensive HIV-related services and other services for improved health, nutrition, education, protection, livelihoods, and psychosocial well-being.RC Mahenge seeks to recruit qualified, energetic and committed Tanzanian Candidates to fill the following postM&E OFFICERRoles and Responsibilities:Coordinate implementation and provide oversight of monitoring and evaluationactivities in the supported councils, including data collection, management, andreporting,Perform simple data analyses and visualization to promote data use at all levelsGenerate and contribute to quarterly or other reports, as neededSupport Cluster M&E staff to conduct routine internal data quality assessments (DQAs)Conduct regular data monitoring site visits to caseworkers; review and provide feedbackon caseworkers performanceReview critically reports submitted by caseworkers and perform data verification asneededSet up and maintain data entry and management systems including applicationsSupervise data entry by data clerksOther tasks as assigned Minimum Requirements:Minimum Requirements:Education:Diploma in public health, sociology, demography, statistics, or other social sciencearea; Bachelor’s Degree preferredAcademic qualification in monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantageSkills and Experience:The ideal candidate will have at least 1-year experience working in Monitoring,Evaluation and reporting,Proficient with MS ExcelWork experience supporting technical or programmatic activities in orphans andvulnerable childrenExperience with DHIS2 preferred other software a plusExperience with mobile data collectionReport writing and publication skillsExcellent written, oral and presentation skills in English and KiswahiliAbility to work effectively with multiple teams, partner agencies and communitymembers.Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% timeApplication InstructionHow to apply:Applications for the position must include:i.
