We invite disciplined, service-oriented, and safety-conscious professionals to join our team in a fast-paced airport environment where operational excellence and customer satisfaction are paramount.Personal Qualities:High integrity and professional accountabilityStrong teamwork orientationAttention to detail and data protection awarenessAbility to perform in a high-pressure operational environmentCustomer service mindsetFlexibility to work on shift operations, including weekends and public holidaysStrict adherence to safety and compliance standardsPassenger Service AgentsNumber of Positions: 20Duty Station: Dar es SalaamReports to: Passenger Service CoordinatorContract type: Fixed term contract.Job SummaryTo deliver professional passenger handling services in compliance with airline, airport, and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Inspect and verify passenger documentationIssue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellationsManage passenger baggage processing including handling and fee calculation if applicableAssist passengers as needed through arrival and check-in processes, including support for passengers with special needs such as unaccompanied minors (UM), VIP passengers, and passengers needing wheelchair assistanceDirect passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine, as requiredMake public address announcements as requiredAssist Ramp Service Agents to ensure that wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags (cleared through security) are made available for loading upon departure and delivery to passengers upon arrivalComply with all airport authority and carrier security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policiesOperate equipment to include the jet way, computer keyboards, and carrier-specific reservation/ticketing softwareProduce all required, work-related documentationOther duties as assignedQualifications and Competencies:Self-driven and dynamic individuals who are also team players and able to work under pressure, possessing the following qualifications and skills:Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience in customer service (aviation preferred)Strong communication skills (English and Swahili)Ability to work shifts, including nights and holidaysHigh safety awarenessApplication Deadline:Applications must be submitted no later than 28th February 2026.Mode of Application:Interested candidates who meet the above criteria should submit an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) and an application letter clearly stating the position applied for in the email subject line.Applications should be sent to: info@swissport.co.tzAlternatively, applications can be delivered physically to Swissport Tanzania Plc Headquarters.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Swissport Tanzania Plc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
