PRODUCTION ENGINEERINDUSTRY: MANUFACTURINGOn behalf of our reputable client HR World Ltd is looking for Production Engineer responsible for planning, coordination and control of manufacturing process activities
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Key Responsibilities
Overall production and quality management.
Oversee the Colour Coating process and ensure cost effective production.
Ensure production targets are met through daily execution of Production Programmes at CCL.
Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs to ensure timely production and acceptable quality.
Ensuring optimum equipment capacity utilization against requirements; analyse quality and quantity of production and initiate corrective actions to eliminate deficiencies.
Monitor order priorities/ backlogs, equipment breakdowns, and other aspects affecting planned schedules; initiate solutions for repetitive equipment failures and product complaints.
Drive the implementation and usage of systems of production tracking (SAP) and inventory Control including bar code system.
Schedule and organise the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
Support Maintenance programmes to ensure allied equipment are healthy.
Cost and consumption control of Paints, gas, electrical energy, APR, etc.
Manpower management ensuring discipline across the shop floor and reduction of avoidable costs.
Ensure compliance to Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies and guidelines.
Maintain system conformance to ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 standards.
Ensure Preparation and circulation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports for information and corrective actions
QUALIFICATIONS;
Minimum academic qualification: University degree in Engineering or equivalent
SAP knowledge and computer suit
Professional registration: Be a registered member of engineering professional body
General work experience (years): Minimum 5 years
Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): Minimum of 7 years of relevant manufacturingengineering and supervisory experience.
