About the Role
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a skilled and innovative Programmer to design, code, test, and maintain software applications supporting logistics operations and business efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy software applications tailored for logistics and transport management systems.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using appropriate programming languages.
Maintain and improve existing applications by identifying and correcting errors, enhancing performance, and ensuring security.
Collaborate with system analysts, designers, and operations teams to implement software solutions.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and system design documents.
Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and practices to improve development efficiency.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues reported by end-users.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Programmer, Software Developer, or a similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or PHP.
Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
