PROJECT ENGINEERINDUSTRY: CONSTRUCTIONHR World Limited on behalf of our client we are looking for a Project Engineer/ Draftsman who will provide field support, inspect / verify materials, equipment, construction workmanship and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and code requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Review project plans and proposals, and work with management to develop project objectives
Oversee, coordinate, and perform technical aspects of project, with guidance, based on type of project manager support required (e.g., engineer, quality, scheduler)
Review, evaluate, approve, and monitor cost schedule and technical scope baselines
Ensure the preparation of required project documentation
Contribute to communication plan and change management elements
Determine long lead items for pre-order requirements
Schedule and coordinate activities and resources needed for efficient execution of work
Prepare project status reports, and provide data to others for reporting as needed
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Knowledge of local Construction and building codes
A minimum of 5 years’ work experience of project management and as Draftsman
