Sales Account Manager – Government Sector

Responsibilities

Selling IT products and solutions
Manage projects and clients
Manage proposals and tenders
Lead point of contact for all customer account matters
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Develop trusted advisor relationships
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Business forecasting
Reporting on accounting activities and strategy
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations
Training, development, and certification


Deliverables

Achieve 100% of targets
Maintain healthy revenue streams from key accounts
Lead generation and follow through
Healthy contribution towards assisting the company achieve sales growth.


Certification

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related fields
Must have recent experience in selling IT or related solutions
Proven experience in sales account management
Strong customer service & sales support, communication & interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and negotiation skills
