Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is a national designated Public Postal operator established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on 1st January, 1994. The Corporation is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and is dedicated in improving people’s lives. Currently, the Corporation is inviting qualified team players to join the Corporation’s major transformation initiatives and all the following vacancies;
POSITION TITLE: SENIOR MARKETING OFFICER ( 2 POSTS)
Entry Qualifications
A holder of Bachelor degree/ Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent qualifications from a recognized higher learning Institutions and working experience in Marketing, sales, and customer care. Should be dynamic, result oriented and customer focused.
Should be computer literacy and excellent analytical ability, fluent in English and Kiswahililanguage both oral and written.
Duties and Responsibilityi. Establish customer relations management with major customers which will provide aunique customer service and build a competitive edge in the market.ii. Undertake market intelligence aimed at establishing analytical data on major customersof the service/products provided and ensure that customer needs are satisfied.iii. Identify business opportunities and negotiate with potential corporate customers andfacilitate the conclusion of contracts.iv. Participate in the improvement of traditional postal services and development of newproducts.v. Prepare periodical reports on sales and marketing activities and assessment of businessperformance general.
Remuneration:The above post carries competitive remuneration as per Tanzania Posts Corporation salarystructure and incentive package.
Duty station:The successful candidate will be stationed at Tanzania Posts Corporation Headquarters.
