Job DescriptionCATS Tanzania the leading provider of enterprise software and IT solutions is looking for an experienced project manager in the software and application development field to manage its client project and work with the development team to deliver quality products on-time and on budget. ResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility of the successful management of the software project; and software risk managementWorks with project teams to decompose requirements into feature deliverables, development tasks and time estimates to complete each taskPlanning, controlling and coordination of software project team and software projectIn charge of the robust project execution in line with the project’s targets Ensures software Development Processes are followedManage client relationship and expectations and represents the team at the customerRun daily morning team standupsReports project status to management and client weeklyPlanning and controlling of software configuration management, problem-solving management and the software change managementDetailed scheduling and budgetingEstablish detail break down of the activities to meet the milestones and an understanding of the needed resourcesFollow activities and spending of the project scopeEnsures that software development teams are following appropriate software development processesParticipates in the continuous improvement of software development processesExperienceProven and demonstrable track record of delivering successful software projects (3 reference clients required)3-5 experience managing software development projectsExperience with organizing and motivating teamsAbility to form relationships and communicate with stakeholders including product management, sales, marketing, customers and company managementExperience with agile project managementOpen for customer inputs, self-reflective and self-critical personalityPrevious success in a fast-paced multiple project environmentExcellent English and Swahili communications skills(written and spoken)University degree/PMP/Prince2 a plus but not requiredHow to Apply Please email your CV and cover letter to hr@catsgroup.co.tz
