The mine is situated in the Lake Victoria Goldfields of North Western Tanzania, only about 85 km’s from Mwanza City and 20 km Southeast of the nearest point of Lake Victoria. The company has its head office in Geita, only 5 Km west of the fast-growing town of Geita, and also a supporting office in Dar es Salaam. Qualifications: Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
Experience:
Minimum  10 years (combined) relevant experience in maintaining fixed plant and mobile plant equipment.
Purpose of the Role:
The primary purpose of this position is to:

Develop, implement and monitor the asset management framework model
Driver condition monitor system to feed into the overall maintenance strategy
Drive the total fluid management system
Drive the reliability and defect elimination process on-site

Main or key Accountabilities
Accountabilities of the Superintendent 2: Engineering and Reliability - Asset Management:

Develop, into implement and monitor the asset Management Model for site
Develop implement and monitor condition monitoring program
Drive the total fluid management system
Identify underperforming equipment and investigate causes for underperformance
Drive continues reliability improvement projects through defect elimination.

Additional Requirements:

Experience in asset management processes
Experience in component failure investigations
Experienced in defect eliminations
An ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation
HSSE and operations understanding
World-developed time management skills as well as the management ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work as a team player and work towards team goals
Sound management, administrative, and organizational skills
Sound analytical and process skills
Good knowledge of fuel custody transfer systems or automated fuel management systems
Proficiency in the use and application of the following  software: Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Proficiency in the use of SAP
Proficient in application and management of Fleet Management System such as modular and process control systems
Provide Support of IT Applications on site
