Our client is a trusted security provider and adviser to Governments, security banks, high-security printers and industry providing secured identification, traceability and authentication solutions and services. They wish to recruit top performing individuals for the following positions:
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – JOB REF: MN 7562
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AMONG OTHERS
Work with the client to conduct 6-month rolling forecasting for paper and digital stamps and communicate the paper stamps forecasts to Head Office to support their planning for the printing, coding, and deliv­ery of paper stamps to the client.
Conduct 6-month rolling forecasting for liquids based on the digital stamps forecasts and communicate the liquids forecasts to Head Office to support their planning for the production and delivery of liquids to the local entity.
Forecast needs for equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
Work with the General Manager to prepare semi-annual revenue fore­casts for paper and digital stamps and conduct monthly tracking and reporting of the variance between actuals and forecasts.
Define and implement processes, procedures and supporting systems for equipment, spare parts and consumables inventory management.
Manage local entity and third-party warehouse operations and act as the SPOC for third-party warehouse service providers,
PERSON PROFILE
University degree in Supply Chain in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Minimum 5 years of successful experience managing teams 8+ people responsible for supply chain management, logistics management, and inventory management
Language skills: Fluent in English and Swahili
Deep knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, inventory management and logistics best practices
Experience with inventory management systems and/or ERPs (particu­larly SAP)
Technical background (Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) would be a plus
