Jhpiego is implementing a number of projects in Tanzania, wishes to recruit TCI Tupange Pamoja Technical Officer.Position: TCI Tupange Pamoja Technical OfficerSummary scope of workProvide technical support in Tupange Pamoja (TP) initiative in Tanzania, especially in the assessment, design, and implementation and monitoring of the demand-driven approach in the delivery of family planning selected geographies (cities, municipal council’s, districts council’s). Assist in ensuring sustainable adoption of family planning (FP)innovation in Tanzania.ResponsibilitiesAssisting the assessment design and implementation of appropriate evidence-based family planning innovations/interventions in selected geographiesProvide technical reviews and strategic inputs into design adoption and simplification of key Tupange Pamoja intervention including the FP Tool Kit, TCI University, TCI Community of practices and other program materialConducts advocacy and marketing activities for a demand-driven approach and scale-up of FP innovation focusing on urban areas in both the government and private sectors in Tanzania in collaboration with the AFP Tanzania and other stakeholdersProvide technical assistance (coaching and mentoring) in landscaping and proposal development to selected geographies to ensure that program strategies resulting in greatest impact, scaled and sustainedParticipate actively in the initiative annual work planningSupport and assist with project M&E activity to ensure that the project meets sets targets in accordance with national and international standardsImplement project activities in a timely cost-effective manner multitasking and prioritizing as necessaryProvide active supports, regional reproductive child health coordinators (RRCHCI) and districts reproductive health coordinators (DRCHCO) in the implementation and supervision of national standards for FPIn collaboration with geographies HIS/DHIS and Tupange Pamoja M&E manager, track activities, ensure that appropriate information is, and analyzed and used on a routine basis by geographies managements for programmatic decision-makingRepair routine activity and monthly and quarterly reportsContributing to the documentation and intuitive learning activities by predation of appropriate documents and reports, including challenges, successes, and lessons learnedDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and donorsWork with project and financial stuff to prepare and track progress of activity budgetEnsure compliance with the donor operation policies and regulationsPerform other duties as directed by your supervisorKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDegree in health or public health, organization development, social sciences, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferredMinimum of 7 years’ experience working in integrated FP/RH service delivery in government, NGO and private sectorFamiliarity with participatory methodologies and approachesDemonstrated experiencing system strengthening (service, MIS) and use of data for implementing quality improvement interventions within select geography settingsProven skills in facilitation team-building capacity building and coordinationSong change management result oriented and decision-making skillsExperience engaging in international NGOs, international donor, senior government official policy makersExcellent interpersonal writing and oral presentation skillsA team player accustomed to building, delegating working teams and developing communities of learning among partners and counterpartsAbility to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to performFluency in English and SwahiliExcellent computer literacyAbility to travel frequently and on short noticeJhpiego offers a competitive package selected candidates in line with salary history, academic qualification and relevant experienceTo apply please indicate the position title on the envelope or subject line of.
