Reporting to: Program Manager, Malaria
Location: Tabora and Mtwara
Job Purpose:
To coordinate PSI malaria prevention activities, with a particular focus on maintaining long-lasting insecticidal Net (LLIN) coverage through schools(SNP), antenatal(ANC) and immunization (EPI) channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To ensure distribution and maintaining coverage of long-lasting insecticidal treated net (LLIN) through SNP and Health Facilities in the designated zone
TO manage the LLINs storage warehouse in the designated zones to ensure LLINs are stored according to good storage practice all the time; ensure the documentation of LLINs all the time.
To support monitoring and evaluation by assessing the appropriate distribution of LLINs to pregnant women, children under five and pupils in primary schools.
Provide assistance and capacity building to MSD in program design, resource mobilization, planning, and implementation.
Work with operation team (central, zonal to regional levels) and MSD to review and ensure regional plans related to Vectorworks are done with perfection and reports are submitted timely.
To support the development and Implementation of work plans.
Contribute to ensuring timely submission of reports through MIS reporting system according to donor deliverables.
Prepare and submit all the donor and PSI required reports and ensure documentation of all best practices
To proactively engage with zonal, Regional and district partners, including PO-RALG, MSD, RHMT, CHMT, Regional and District Education Authorities
Any other duties as may be assigned by the country representative
Academic and professional qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, marketing or equivalent experience in related field.
In Depth knowledge of local and global malaria issues
In Depth knowledge of MSD data collection and reporting tools
At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or sales and distribution
In-Depth knowledge of the regional and district structure of Tanzania including RHMTs and CHMTs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Swahili
Ability to work efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy( MS Word; Excel; Powerpoint presentation; Access; Internet
