Area Sales Manager - FMCG Industry
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing sales operations within the assigned region, driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, and ensuring a strong market presence for the company’s FMCG products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets within the assigned area.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to deliver on set objectives and key performance indicators.
- Monitor sales performance meticulously and prepare comprehensive regular reports for management.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand the company’s market reach and customer base.
- Ensure the effective execution of trade promotions and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity, identify market trends, and gather insights.
- Ensure proper product coverage, efficient distribution, and optimal visibility across the assigned region.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and support sales staff to continuously enhance their skills and improve overall performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales management, with a strong preference for experience within the FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities are essential.
- A proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets and driving significant business growth.
- A deep understanding of FMCG distribution channels and market dynamics.
- Ability to analyze sales data and leverage insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with sales management software.
